Computer Vision / Deep Learning Expert

Your Mission:

Lead the development of cutting-edge CV algorithms that power our smart cart technology—deployed globally in major grocery chains to enable checkout-free shopping.

Core Responsibilities:

  • ✔ Own E2E algorithm development from research to production:
    • Design models for fine-grained product recognition (100K+ SKUs)
    • Solve retail-specific CV challenges: occlusion handling, real-time tracking, multi-view geometry
    • Optimize for edge deployment on constrained hardware
  • ✔ Push SOTA boundaries in:
    • Few-shot learning for new product onboarding
    • Domain adaptation across global retail environments
    • Multi-modal fusion (RGB + depth/IR)
  • ✔ Lead technical execution:
    • Define data strategies for millions of retail images
    • Collaborate with DataOps on scalable training pipelines
    • Mentor junior researchers

Tech Stack You’ll Master:

  • ▸ Python + PyTorch/TensorFlow
  • ▸ OpenCV, ONNX, TensorRT
  • ▸ C++ (performance-critical components)
  • ▸ AWS/GCP for large-scale training

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years hands-on CV/DL experience in production environments
  • Proven track record of deploying models solving:
    • Fine-grained classification
    • Real-time object tracking
    • Computational geometry
  • Retail/edge AI experience (strong plus)
  • Leadership DNA – can drive complex projects E2E
