Qodo.ai - Front-End Tech Lead

About The Position

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Front-End Tech Lead to guide our front-end development efforts. You will be responsible for setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces for our AI-powered products.

You will be responsible for:

* Leading the technical design and architecture of front-end components and applications.

* Mentoring and coaching front-end engineers, promoting best practices and skill development.

* Collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate designs into functional user experiences.

* Ensuring the performance, scalability, and maintainability of our front-end codebase.

* Conducting code reviews, establishing coding standards, and promoting a culture of technical excellence.

* Researching and evaluating new front-end technologies and tools to enhance our development process.

* Contributing hands-on to critical front-end development tasks.

**Requirements:**
* 7+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer, with a strong portfolio of complex web applications.
* 2+ years of experience as a Tech Lead, guiding and mentoring front-end teams.
* Expert proficiency in React and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, etc.).
* Strong command of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
* Deep understanding of front-end architecture, performance optimization, and testing methodologies.
* Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite) and component libraries.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

**Bonus Points/Nice to Have:**
* Experience with other JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue.js).
* Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
* Experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
