Pixellot - Research Scientist - AI

Pixellot is seeking a passionate and innovative AI Research Scientist to join its cutting-edge AI Research Group, dedicated to revolutionizing sports production. This role offers a direct impact on the company’s innovation, playing a crucial part in advancing core AI capabilities by pushing the boundaries of artificial intelligence with real-world impact.

As part of your role, you will conduct cutting-edge research and develop novel AI algorithms, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques. You will design, implement, and evaluate deep learning models for various applications, including advanced computer vision tasks, contributing to the entire research lifecycle from theoretical exploration to product integration. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to translating research prototypes into robust and scalable solutions, while staying abreast of the latest AI advancements.

The ideal candidate holds an M.Sc degree from a prominent academic institute in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, AI, ML, Electrical Engineering) and possesses proven industry or research experience with LLMs, VLMs, and RAG systems. Strong theoretical and practical understanding of deep learning, particularly for computer vision tasks, along with excellent programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with PyTorch, are essential. Familiarity with the HuggingFace Transformers library is highly desirable. Bonus points for experience with AI model deployment and other deep learning platforms.
