**About the Role**
Lead technical architecture and engineering for Monday.com’s new AI R&D group, shaping how generative AI capabilities scale across our work OS platform serving 2M+ users. You’ll bridge cutting-edge AI research with production-grade implementation while mentoring engineers and influencing company-wide technical strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Technical Leadership**
– Architect scalable AI infrastructure for:
– LLM integration & fine-tuning
– Real-time AI feature delivery
– Cross-team API standardization
– Drive operational excellence in code quality and system reliability

**Platform Innovation**
– Evolve stack (Node.js/TS/React) to support AI at scale
– Optimize data pipelines (MySQL/Elasticsearch/Redis)
– Implement best practices for AI observability

**Team Development**
– Mentor engineers on AI/ML engineering patterns
– Collaborate with Data Science on model deployment
– Partner with Product on technical feasibility

**Qualifications**

**Required**
– 7+ years full-stack development at scale
– Proven experience as:
– Tech Lead or Architect
– High-traffic systems designer
– Expertise in:
– Node.js/Typescript ecosystems
– Database optimization
– Distributed systems

**Preferred**
– LLM/Generative AI implementation
– AI API design experience
– Startup/scale-up environment
