Lusha - Senior Data Scientist (Recommender Systems)

**Responsibilities:**
* Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models for recommender systems, including collaborative filtering, content-based, and hybrid approaches.
* Conduct extensive data analysis to identify key patterns and insights, informing model development and product strategy.
* Experiment with novel algorithms and techniques, staying at the forefront of recommender systems research.
* Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other data scientists to integrate models into production environments.
* Lead A/B testing efforts to evaluate the performance and impact of new recommendation features.
* Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize for accuracy and efficiency.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of our data science capabilities.
**Requirements:**
* M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong focus on recommender systems.
* Expert proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
* Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
* Proven experience with large-scale data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Hive).
* Deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms, particularly those used in recommendation engines.
* Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis (A/B testing).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-driven attitude.
