Lenovo – Applied Security AI Advisory Researcher

Lenovo is hiring an Applied Security AI Advisory Researcher to join its advanced R&D team in Petach Tikva, Israel. In this role, you will focus on integrating AI and cybersecurity by driving research and prototype development to combat emerging threats.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct research and build PoCs for AI-driven threat detection, trust, and mitigation
– Investigate issues like adversarial attacks, model evasion, and privacy
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop deployable solutions
– Translate research into real-world security features
– Document technical outcomes for internal and external sharing

Requirements:
– M.Sc. in Computer Science, Data Science, or Cybersecurity
– Strong understanding of AI, ML, and cybersecurity principles
– Experience developing AI-powered security tools or frameworks
– Python skills with PyTorch/TensorFlow familiarity
– Excellent problem-solving and prototyping capabilities

Preferred:
– Background in adversarial ML, privacy-preserving AI, or secure infrastructure
– Exposure to secure enclaves, embedded systems, or edge AI
– Research publications, patents, or public contributions in AI security
