**Key Responsibilities:**
* Guide the strategic vision for internal AI and machine learning projects, collaborating with CTO, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align initiatives with broader business objectives and achieve quantifiable results.
* Oversee and mentor a team of machine learning researchers, cultivating an environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, technical excellence, and professional development.
* Actively engage in the research and development of AI solutions, contributing directly to technical execution alongside the team.
* Utilize generative AI to create agentic AI solutions that improve data exploitation, content creation, customer engagement, and operational efficiency, all within the context of JFrog’s business goals.
* Investigate and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, recommendation, and optimization, thereby driving predictions of customer behavior, enhancing the sales pipeline, and boosting marketing efficiency throughout the B2B sales cycle.
* Employ data science methodologies to analyze and interpret intricate datasets, extracting actionable insights to support data-driven decisions within JFrog’s B2B SaaS offerings.
**Desired Skills & Experience:**
* A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, is mandatory.
* Broad experience in machine learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), generative AI, and statistical modeling, with a proven track record of developing and implementing AI solutions for practical problems in a B2B SaaS environment.
* A minimum of five years of practical experience with Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, coupled with strong research and analytical abilities, and the capacity to directly contribute to the development and deployment of AI models.
* At least two years of managerial experience, demonstrating a proven aptitude for leading and mentoring technical teams, fostering innovation, and promoting professional growth.
* A strong business-oriented perspective, capable of leveraging AI insights to significantly influence areas such as customer engagement, marketing, and sales optimization.
* Comfortable navigating and excelling in novel or undefined situations, demonstrating high levels of independence and self-motivation.
* Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, articulate complex technical concepts, and unify diverse stakeholders toward shared objectives.
