Gong - Senior Backend Engineer (Enterprise Solutions, Java, Spring Boot)

Gong is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for our Enterprise Solutions team in Tel Aviv. This role offers a pivotal opportunity to revolutionize how companies understand their customer interactions by tackling complex technical challenges and crafting innovative solutions. You will develop scalable systems, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate across the organization to solve high-impact problems for high-profile customers.

As a key member of a unique “special forces” team, you will design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies. You will develop and maintain complex systems at production scale, explore and integrate new technologies, including AI and ML capabilities, and rapidly switch between different areas of responsibility and technical stacks. Collaboration with internal teams (Product, GTM, R&D groups) and external stakeholders is crucial for developing tailored solutions.

We are looking for a candidate with 6+ years of experience, a strong foundation in Java and Spring Boot, and experience developing and maintaining large-scale, cloud-based web applications. A creative problem-solving mindset and a passion for researching technologies are highly valued. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. This role operates under a flexible hybrid work model.
