Ex.co - Data Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Data Engineer to join our growing R&D team at Ex.co. You’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our robust data infrastructure, enabling data-driven decisions across the company. **What you’ll do:**
* Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT) from various sources to our data warehouse.
* Develop and maintain data models for efficient data storage and retrieval.
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
* Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
* Optimize queries and data structures for performance.
* Manage and monitor our data infrastructure on cloud platforms (GCP).
* Implement best practices for data governance and security.

**Requirements:**
* 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
* Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
* Solid programming skills in Python.
* Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data orchestration (e.g., Airflow).
* Familiarity with streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka) is a plus.
* Understanding of data modeling techniques (dimensional, Kimball).
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
