We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Researcher to join our team in Herzliya Pituach, Israel.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Conduct fundamental and applied research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a focus on cybersecurity applications.
* Develop novel AI/ML algorithms and models for threat detection, incident response, and security automation.
* Design and implement proof-of-concept prototypes to validate research ideas.
* Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals, and contribute to the scientific community.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate research prototypes into production systems.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and cybersecurity research.
* Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the team’s intellectual property.
**Who You Are:**
* Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
* 5+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML research, preferably with a focus on real-world applications.
* Strong theoretical and practical understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
* Proven experience with major AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
* Expert proficiency in Python and experience with other programming languages (e.g., C++, Java) is a plus.
* Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or time-series analysis.
* Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and deliver impactful results.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong publication record in reputable conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL) or journals is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
