### What You’ll Do
You’ll be at the forefront of developing novel AI models, with a strong focus on transformers and deep learning. This includes:
* Leading mid-to-long-term projects to integrate advanced AI-driven features into Wiz’s cybersecurity products.
* Conducting rigorous experiments and evaluating AI models, algorithms, and techniques using real-world data and simulated environments.
* Staying ahead of the curve on cutting-edge AI methodologies and tools, applying them to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of our security solutions.
* Collaborating closely with engineering teams to build and maintain production pipelines, and working with Security Research and Product teams to define research goals.
* Contributing to the broader AI and cybersecurity communities through publications in leading academic journals and presentations at top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, or CVPR, establishing Wiz as a thought leader.

### What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with a strong academic and professional background, including:
* An **M.Sc. degree** in computer science, statistics, or a related field is required; a **Ph.D. is a plus**.
* At least **3 peer-reviewed publications** in reputable academic journals or conferences.
* **5+ years of experience** leading and managing data science and machine learning projects, ideally at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity.
* Hands-on familiarity with distributed cloud systems.
* Strong knowledge of deep learning models and common architectures like transformer models, LLMs, CNNs, and RNNs.
* Proficiency in AI research programming languages like Python and experience with AI frameworks such as Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
* A proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and develop creative solutions to complex problems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
**Bonus points if you have:**
* Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms.
* Experience speaking at data science and AI conferences like NeurIPS, ICML, or CVPR.
