Applied AI Researcher (Computer Vision)

About the Role:

Join our R&D team as an Applied AI Researcher, where you’ll pioneer state-of-the-art deep learning solutions for computer vision challenges like classification, detection, and beyond. You’ll bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications—designing, implementing, and optimizing models for production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end development of vision AI solutions in uncharted domains, taking algorithms from concept to deployment.
• Research & implement cutting-edge techniques by reviewing academic papers and adapting them to solve complex problems.
• Design scalable architectures and define dataset requirements to maximize model performance.
• Innovate novel approaches where existing solutions fall short, pushing boundaries in computer vision.

What You Bring:

• Advanced degree (M.Sc. required, Ph.D. preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field from a top-tier university.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing deep learning algorithms for computer vision (classification, detection, segmentation, etc.).
• Technical mastery:
  • Proficient in PyTorch, Python, Git (Windows environment).
  • Experience building algorithms from scratch.
  • Familiarity with C++/C# (advantage).
• Research mindset: Ability to navigate ambiguity, contribute to new advancements, and translate theory into practice.
• Collaborative spirit: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
