DigitalOwl – AI Model Trainer (Medical Underwriting)

DigitalOwl is revolutionizing insurance with ML-powered analysis of medical records to streamline underwriting and claims processes. Joining as an AI Model Trainer, you’ll ensure the integrity and accuracy of generative AI outputs by supervising training workflows specialized in medical documentation.

In this role, you will:
– Train and fine-tune generative AI models to accurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, and insurance documents
– Provide detailed feedback to improve model outputs and reduce inconsistencies
– Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to optimize datasets and training pipelines
– Conduct QA on AI-generated underwriting content under SLA-driven timelines
– Offer domain expertise in medical underwriting and claims workflows

Must-haves:
– Experience in insurance underwriting, claims assessment, or medical risk evaluation
– Native-level English proficiency and excellent attention to detail
– Ability to evaluate and refine AI outputs for accuracy and relevance
– A proactive, startup mindset and strong teamwork skills

Bonus qualifications:
– Background in healthcare, medical coding, or paramedical professions
– Experience in BI/legal fields or in AI annotation/model training workflows
