Ex.co - Senior Data Scientist
Ex.co is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our R&D team. You will be responsible for applying advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to derive insights, build predictive models, and optimize our content experience platform. This role offers the opportunity to work with vast datasets and have a direct impact on product development and business strategy.
**What you’ll do:**
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models for recommendation, personalization, and optimization.
* Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
* Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features and algorithms.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to define problems and deliver data-driven solutions.
* Research and implement cutting-edge data science methodologies, including deep learning and causal inference.
* Communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices within the team.
**Requirements:**
* Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
* 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in AdTech, MarTech, or content platforms.
* Strong proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
* Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
* Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, and causal inference.
* Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, BigQuery) is a plus.
* Proven track record of building and deploying production-grade ML models.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
