Hailo - Lead SoC Architect (Future AI Chips)

Hailo, a leader in developing top-performing AI processors for edge devices, is seeking a visionary SoC Architect to join our team in Tel Aviv. In this critical position, you will be instrumental in defining the system, SoC, and sub-systems specifications and requirements for Hailo’s next-generation AI chips. Your role will involve close collaboration with Product, Software, and VLSI teams to explore optimal architectural solutions, expertly balancing product and market demands with hardware and software development efforts and non-functional KPIs.

You will be tasked with analyzing various architectural concepts, owning key performance indicators of Hailo’s SoC and its subsystems, and evaluating and selecting third-party IPs. Your responsibilities will also include specifying system, software, and hardware requirements at the SoC level, defining pre-silicon data and control flows, and optimizing performance, power, cost, and development effort.

We are looking for an experienced professional with 3+ years in SoC or system architecture, complemented by 5+ years in logic design, design verification, or system engineering. Preferred qualifications include expertise in SoC memory subsystems, bus fabric, DDR interfacing, microprocessor/DSP architecture, hardware/software partitioning, standard interfaces (MIPI, PCIe, USB, Ethernet), Python/C++/SystemC proficiency, and SoC security.
